Healer main LF FC to call home.

I'm not looking to raid hardcore anymore, (bad experiences with FCs in the past) I just want a fc to run casual content, help level classes/jobs, etc and just enjoy the game with others. If it matters I'm on the east coast so I would like a fc with a majority of others to be around the same time zone but am willing to adapt if not possible . I'm an open book so feel free to ask away.

May want to check out Orange Pekoe. We are a Medium-Large FC that is social focused. Main goal is maintaining a friendly and accepting community.

I can second what Rena said. If you're looking for a bit larger social FC that maintains strong values of respect and comraderie, I would recommend Orange Pekoe. If you're looking for something similar to that but with a smaller atmosphere (we're expanding currently!) but still a social-focused FC, check out Noble Riff Raff. Also please feel free to ask Rena or me any more questions if you have them. ^-^ She runs Pekoe and I run Noble Riff Raff.

I am starting a new character for various reasons - the old one will be kept but not be very active. So maybe 8-10 hours a day on the new one.

I prefer medium sized guilds - large enough to have someone on during the day - small enough that you aren't just a number with 49 people on. Riff Raff sounds closer to that size range but I'm guessing there.

But I'm eastern time and off by 11PM so a FC that uses PST to say when people are on may mean that a large chuck of Riff Raff is on PST which doesn't work for me. I also hate, despise, abhor, abominate and detest voice chat. Plus I don't like it. So Pekoe may be my cup of tea. Any opinions? Thanks.

Pekoe despite its size is actually very close tight knit group. Most our member tend to be older so even with 30-40~ people on chat tends to be pretty relaxed. Overall we also tend to keep decent activity all day long. And as you mention about voip, Pekoe is a voip-free zone
