This is true for me as well. I've pretty much hit the capacity on items for my small house. If they'd simply find a way to increase the amount of items allowed on and in existing properties, I wouldn't even need to consider getting an apartment. :-/

I believe that Yoshi or one of the devs has said in a Live letter that they are working on increasing the number of items you can place in homes. Please look forward to it...

I remember EQ2 had items in cash shop to increase item limit for a house.
