Thread: V 1.2 server transfer question

Hey, I know in the latest live with the producer, Yoshi flirted with the idea of implementing the ability to change gender and even your name in-game.

I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding the ability to possibly transfer servers when 1.2 goes live. This would be real convenient considering the fact that my main character is on Wutai, and all of my friends just recently started playing on Selbina.... I really don't feel like leveling a brand new character up, so Server transfers would be lovely.

I think you mean 2.0 ;D

But i dont think there has been much mention of migrating servers though I am sure its something they will look into as its a bit of a cash cow waiting to be milked!

With the release of patch 1.20, it will not be possible to transfer your character to another server. I apologize for the inconvenience.

...now that I think about it, real world folks I knew were planning to migrate to Selbina too. I think they returned to FF11. Don't think I could have tolerated the heartbreak... so I broked my own heart first and chose a server!

Server transfer is more realistic than a server merge at this moment.

How to transfer:

1. Make a new char
2. be boosted to 50 in like a day
3. do step 2 x amount of times for x classes
4. make shards for ur millions
5. do quests in couple days
6. done!

Or SE could implement it, w/e! my idea will live forever!!

sadly you could probably level a new character on a different server all DOW and DOM to 50 in a month. Does that count as a world transfer service?
