Request: Please allow us to give commands to pets while mounted

Hello everyone, this might be a nitpick from me, but I would like to be able to give commands to my pets (mainly summoner egis) while mounted. I do not understand why this is not possible already but I will ask here regardless.

I can't count the times I just want to get from point A to point B but forget to set the egi to ignore combat and starts attacking something that sees me while en-route. Then I have 2 choices:
1)dismount and kill the monster and get back to the road
2)keep going and wait until I am so far away the egi disappears

Its not the biggest thing in the world but I would like to be able to do this someday.

Making a macro to put your pet on steady when you use mount is a simple work around.

While this would be a nice QoL change, it's pretty low on the list of things I'd want them to work on.

IMO the pet shouldn't even exist in it's hitbox aggro'able form when mounted. It should be like just floating or running beside you but strictly and only in a visual sense. (Like how bird Companions are managed when we mount / dismount with them summoned).

But I'd take this idea as well!

Scholars can't turn off the auto healing, so the faerie gets despawned all the time. .__.
