Game crashes during 'moogle loading screen'

This has happened to me before, in which I had to wait multiple days for the issue to fix its self due to everything I tried not doing a single thing

I log in normally, I get to the character select screen, click my character, and go to the loading screen. There it shows the loading screen between 5 and 20 seconds, before I get a pop up saying....well here's a screenshot

In the past I've reformatted my video drivers with a friend's help, I've even tried obscure things like 'having a steam game open when running XIV', I've switched to direct x 9 when I was using 11, I've reset my system settings for XIV (Which did nothing at all thanks, and yes I backed up that info before resetting), and a few other things which I no longer remember, and NOTHING WORKED AT ALL. This literally happens out of the blue, and I'm getting quite pissed off when I'm paying for a game I can NOT play.

Also before anyone asks, yes I have tried their 'troubleshooting' instructions as they so put it, and nothing helped at all.

Also one last thing, both times this happened I was at my FC house (Outside of it by the summoning bell and market board) in the Lavender Beds

Still unable to log in. Glad I discontinued my auto payment and it ends tomorrow (Not paying for a game I'm unable to play). Only chance I have at this point, since this thread doesn't seem to be getting any help, is wait for the next update later in the month.

Though I still strongly believe it's because the last time this happened, I had logged out of the Lavender Beds, like I had done this time.

Only started playing final fantasy xiv yesterday all went well till the after noon and getting exactly how you describe reinstaling now to see if that helps i am a bit worried coz i subbed for 3 months?? eek the few hours i did play tho i loved it

Oh hey look! The game FINALLY works again! what got it to work? I updated 'The secret World' on steam, and suddenly that fixed whatever was wrong with my XIV.....again.

Don't know what causes this issue, and I'll probably never get an answer for it~
