3.4 Alexander: The Creator (Savage) ilvl Requirements in Raid Finder

Currently, even when queuing for Alexander Midas (Savage) with a Full 8man premade party the ilvl requirements are being enforced. When Alexander: The Creator (Savage) is added to the Raid Finder in 3.4 it can be assumed that they will be added with ilvl requirements as well.

Hardcore raiders who plan to tackle the content the first week have the potential from being locked out from raiding even if their team was capable of defeating the raid boss with the previous tiers gear.

These are the current Midas (Savage) requirements:
    A5S: 215
    A6S: 220
    A7S: 225
    A8S: 225

Translating it to the assumed The Creator (Savage) requirements:
    A9S: 245
    A10S: 250
    A11S: 255
    A12S: 265

If the requirements are the same for this coming tier reletive to the pervious tier, you would be required to craft or farm Alexander: The Creator (Normal) to even enter Savage Mode in the 1st place which has never been done before. To reach A11S and A12S you would be required to spend the new Tomestones and also get lucky on gear to reach the requirements.

SE please consider removing the ilvl requirements for a full premade group so that we can immediately challenge the next tier of Alexander (Savage).

It's fucking stupid that crafted and normal gear will be higher ilvl than Midas savage stuff to begin with. That alone makes them pretty much required for anyone who's even half serious about the content. It also makes everything you did in Midas completely pointless ^_^

Of course it's assumed anyone hardcore will be spending time crafting gear the first week, but we shouldn't be required to do so to enter in the 1st place.

Probably won't get added to the raid finder until 3.5 or s/t.

Also, even if it were in RF, I really doubt A9S would be i245 lol

Hopefully, it isn't put into the Raid Finder to avoid the issue completely.

Gordias (Savage) era we could only achieve an average ilvl of i210 and they required A5S to have an average ilvl of i215. I wouldn't put it past them making it similar again.

It seems like SE has a very fixed formula for item levels and progression. We get one item level for every level, plus up to 80 per expansion. Level 50 in 2.x took us from iLvl 50 to iLvl 130. It would actually appear as though SE has broken with that slightly; the first 'tier' in Heavensward was 160 dungeon gear, and then the first round of Tomestones brought us to 210 (once augmented--200 baseline). It would not be a stretch to compare the i200 gear in HW to the i90 gear from ARR. They may have learned some, but it would seem, given current progression, that the max iLvl will be 270: 250 for Creator NM and crafted gear, 260 for Tomestones, and 270 for Creator S and Augmented. This is a bit more than the iLvl growth we had in 2.x, but this can be attributed to the fact that there was more overlap in 2.x, and the iLvls were much tighter (which made upgrades feel less rewarding).

Based on this, I'd think your numbers a little bit high, as ACS4/A12S would then require nearly fully-raid-equipped gear. More likely, it will be 10 iLvls down from what you're suggesting.

    My ilvls are high?

As I previously explained, this is the current requirements of Midas (Savage):

    A5S: 215
    A6S: 220
    A7S: 225
    A8S: 225

That information is actual requirements from the raid finder. When that content was added to the game the previous tier awarded i210 gear. It's easy to assume the ilvl I provided would be the new requirements for the Raid Finder considering the Midas(Savage) requirements and the Gordias (Savage) and 3.0~3.1 Eso upgraded gear.

You're not meant to be able to enter Savage immediately upon release, they want you to get some upgrades first before tackling it. I don't see the 3rd tier of Alexander operating any differently.

That being said, I do agree with the opinion that premades should not have ilvl requirements enforced upon them for any sort of content.
