The thing is, people have been complaning that armoure were to fluff and shiny and other stuff and now they add something simple and people will complain there is no fluff, no light, and not enought shine....just us your favorite glamour over it like we do most of the time ^^"

Think only set I'd wear from these would be the caster one. I prefer simple, non-shiny items but these are.. well, eh, just not my taste.

As with the majority of HW gear, I can find no other word to say but pass.

I am almost certain at this point they are making these new sets via a slide card outfit book, by taking pieces from existing gear and attaching them to others, then making one or two new pieces on it to hide the fact it's made that way; a clear example of this is the i205 PvP sets, look at how the MNK and NIN set have a mish mash of Syrcus Tower gear pieces, and the Tank and DRG set, too, carrying pieces of Syrcus sets.

Now, this doesn't apply to all, but when it isn't that feeling, it really comes off as a case of "way too similar" a lot of the time to the point where it's almost a spot-the-difference effect. Sadly for me, I also dislike a lot of the actual original pieces from HW, too, but for that I am thankful the ARR gear can be glamoured. I just hope that when 4.0 comes a lot of the sets from vendors and such aren't just different class unlocked versions of old gear like they were in HW, and they get off this whole colour-swap train they are on a lot nowadays (looking at the "Draconian" sets and the new dungeon gear as two examples).
