The only thing that looks even passable is the BRD/MCH hat... But I rather keep my Wrangler's Hat.

That being said however, this may actually be my favorite tomestone gear so far believe it or not. We've gotten a lot of really outlandish and elaborate armor sets. These armor sets with their simpler design and more subdued color schemes actually suits my aesthetic taste perfectly.

This is definitely my favorite tomestone gear yet. I wasn't a fan of the Lore gear, nor even of the Poetics gear back in 2.4, so seeing them go from those more complex designs to more simple ones makes me quite glad. I'm also really happy that the weapons are, likewise, simple. I've always disliked big, bulky weapons with a lot of stuff on them. It's probably why I really enjoyed the i160 dungeon gear and weapons, as well as the i215 tank and DRG gear.

This is the Sharlayan designed gear all right.
And with what you said, it's nice to see more diverse options, rather than extreme options.
(I hate every single one of them, but its always great to have options. You never know when your next glamor design in the future will want some gloves/boots or something from this set!)

I guess it's nice that healers and casters get distinctive gear for once again instead of just a white/black colour swap

BRD/MCH coat looks OK-ish, but not a fan of the hat. Although I gotta wait until I can try it on and see how it actually looks on my character before making any judgement on it

I could be wrong, but I think the Valerian set has been the only set in this expansion that's different between healer and caster. Everything else in 3.0 have been pallette swap.

For me the new gear set look wise doesn't really shine until we can dye them. The Hellfire tank chest was something that I wasn't too keen on until I dyed it black.
