Agro is not at all a indication of someone doing more dps, it really isn't.
Best bet is to get someone on PC to parse you, i do wish they would have an add on for PS4.

If you don't have someone to to tell you, and you know that party-mates aren't using enmity mitigation, then the enmity bars tell you some basic info about relative DPS. Since DPS = Aggro if you're number 4 on the list, and #1 and #3 are tanks, you can safely assume you're something like #2 or something overall for damage (assuming the person in the #2 slot is a DPS).

You can use the emnity bar as a rough estimate of how the others are doing, but its not always accurate in the case of everyone (bar MNK) since they have enmity control. Just ask if someone can parse you if you are really interested, Stone Sea and Sky is also a good way to see if your DPS is at least on par.
