Lalafell Shield anchor point

Is there a reason that the lalafell shield anchor point is really far away from the arm?



Compared to another race's distance and same glove model



Below link shows several different shields "floating" away from the arm of a lalafell.

im not sure but, i would guess it's because alot of armor look less stretched on lalafells so maybe they accounted for some armors where it could be bulky on the forearm area?

Shields float away from my arm and I'm not a lalafell. Then again Kos frequently fights without visible arm protection or gloves. I'm sure the positioning is intended to accommodate the bulk of armor, but it looks silly when the armor is absent or scales, leaving the shield floating in space.
