    minstrel's ballad thordan's reign

i Just got into pug for this i see this as chance to learn
first of except to wipe more exp players with this Trial.
wipe is a way to learn on error when come this trial.

One must experience mistake to be able improve on them i only done this trial twice. the issue is community want get it done but is impatient for succeed. They tell everyone to watch a video on how it done. video help nobody it just show how it done. One must experience it for them self to gain knowledge on how do it for them self. The only way one learn for this trial, is trial and error. By make mistake we learn for are mistake by impatience won't fix it.
    Sorry this my two cents

Make a PF group saying learning party expect wipes and get people who want to learn the fight. Using DF for something like this is not the best route to learn it.

If you where on balmug I would invite you into our FC learning party. We are currently working new members to our FC threw all the EX trails. After 2 hours we got most people to final stage and tonight likely clear.

When I queue for extreme trials I do expect people to have a basic idea of the fight. If you're pugging the most difficult content with a group of strangers the absolute best use of everyone's time is if you have a pretty good idea of the fight, and a decent level of raid awareness.

The place to learn and expect wipes really is a learning party through party finder, where you can put up a message stating exactly where you are ("learning from start!") and request that people who join bring patience and good humor.

Thordan EX is still one of the most difficult current primals. If multiple people go in having no idea what they're doing from the start, you will not clear in the time allowed.

Bounddreamer I am the opposite to you.

I learn the fight through df, then use pf to clear it. Occasionally, if I am lucky I will get into a learning pf group.

One of the reasons of this is I can actually get into the fight to practice, rather than waste several hours of time trying to build a party that usually fails and splits after only a few attempts.

I never expect anyone in df to know the fight.

On most servers this is not an option as those parties will never fill up unless your on a high population server especially with Thordan EX so your options are DF or if you have FC/LS that can run it with you.

If your using DF it is usually expected that you have watched a video so you have a basic understanding of the fight.

I queue regularly for mentor roulette and let me tell you, most do NOT. A lot of the more difficult primals end up in a failure to clear because of it.

Hopefully adding EX primals to the raid finder will make this mentality the norm, at least with that you can specify a learning/clear/farm party
