Error 193

Every time I try to launch the game, I run into this error:

ffxivgame.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

I get through the patching process, i log in successfully, it says "play" in a big red button. When I hit Play, it thinks for a moment, then throws the error.

I'm running

• Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1. 32bit.
• Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300, 2.50Ghz
• 4gb of RAM
• NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX

If you are unable to play the game

Coldfire: I've tried installing to a different directory, but it didn't resolve the problem.

SE_James: I've tried everything on that list now, including reinstalling the game, set to windowed mode, decreased the game graphic settings, rebooted, and updated graphic drivers.

Additionally, I tried having my buddy send a copy of his Windows 7 32 bit version of the game executable.

Any other ideas?

Did you try installing it on C? You could also try not using the link on desktop but browsing there with explorer to execute it.

Coldfire: I am unable to install the game to the C:\ Directory, and that really shouldn't make a difference. My C:\ doesn't have enough space on it.
