    Any Linkshells Still Recruiting?

I've been searching for a solid LS for my friend and I for more than 8 months now. The main issue seems to be (according to most of the LS's I've tried to get a pearl to) is that a lot of them seem to be very closed minded when it comes to who they allow in their "group".

I'm specifically talking about all those LS that only allow you into their "inner sanctum" if you have all your classes at level 50. Well, unfortunately I'm not one to devote my entire life to a game, especially one that is still in massive redevelopment.

Therefore, I'm seeking a good linkshell that does NOT exclude other players just because they don't have a class at a certain level. Is this really too much to ask for? I consider myself a pretty solid player, I just don't have 24/7 to devote to a video game these days. With a girlfriend, work, and possible PhD program on the horizon I can still see myself playing the game, but I'd like to be able to play with like-minded people who don't value others solely based on how much they play a game, but how well they play when they actually do have the time to.

If you have such a linkshell and are are representative (or know a rep) I would love to hear from you! Been playing since closed beta and I'm more than likely here to stay even once they start billing.

Thanks for reading the lengthy post, but I feel it's always best to be upfront in these issues as to avoid confusion.

Honor Linkshell is solid, we don't have rank/level/class requirements. We do high level content, linkshell events, linkshell farming, linkshell gearing projects, and are a social linkshell. However the bolded parts of your OP make the red flags wave brightly in my face. I don't devote my entire life to a video game, and I don't seem to understand why you even need to bring up the fact that you have a girlfriend, a job, and a possible PhD program.

I have a girlfriend, and 10 month old son, 2 dogs, a herniated disk, and degenerative disk disease. Do you really think me mentioning that on a public forum is going to get my into a linkshell, if I were looking for one? It seems to me that you place yourself higher then everyone else because you play the game and have all those nifty things going on in your life.

I know a lot of linkshells that aren't closed minded. The ones that might not have accepted you, were probably linkshells that are strictly focused on high level content. They have every right to refuse you based on your class/level/ranks, why shouldn't they? You're asking them to give you a spot that can be given to someone else that has shown they have the time and dedication to put the effort into there character, which would benefit their linkshell.

Best of luck to you on your search for a solid linkshell, unfortunatly we do not have a spot open for you.

I posted as i did not as an insult, but to prove a point. My point was not that I'm NOT looking for a LS that only accepts people based on how much time they play. Anyway, much like all the other things I've been reading people complaining about (and why I don't bother to post, just read). If any linkshell out there actually has a similar mindset to my original posting and knows where I'm coming from and doesn't automatically assume I'm pointing them out when I make points, then please let me know as I'd be happy to join and have some fun! Cheers!

Didn't take it as an insult Saturn, merely pointing out why you might not be accepted. Like I said we accept anyone regardless of rank/level/class. The game is a game, not a job it should be fun to experience it with people you can call friends. Just saying with your current mindset of your time > their time, you probably wont be getting many invites.

Doesn't matter if it's just a video game, there are real people behind those characters, they have spent time developing their characters. Trivializing the fact that another person has had more time to develop their character is not in good taste, regardless of your excuse.

Again I wish you the best of luck finding a social linkshell, their are quite a lot of threads in this forum of linkshells looking for members.

As I posted and again to anyone who knows where I'm coming from and is recruiting I'd be happy to join your LS. I'm interested in a linkshell with a diverse group of people who demonstrate and represent a range of play styles from casual to hardcore. If you're that type of linkshell, let me know as I'd be happy to join your linkshell, Cheers!
