I don't know how they would manage to merge servers with the house plots. How would they handle 2 people owning the same plot when they are merged?Leveling is easy honestly.
Buffing won't help. People tend to go to where places have people and get away from bots and all...
Places like Zalera for example was a last minute server on 2.0 so of course it's kinda dead.
Probably ran to hell with bots/rmts.
What they need to do is start merging servers.
Yea, if everyone who transferred off goblin for raiding reasons had stayed, we'd have a grey raid scene today. Over the year, goblin has lost several top 50 players in their respective jobs. It's sad really. Even people in my own raid group are talking about Gilgamesh
*great raid scene*
Silly mobile website not allowing editing...
They could incentivize going to the new merged servers by allotting more housing? Might get a bunch of people transferring for that (may create another imbalance though AND a lot of crying because the merged would have more stuff than the other servers).
But a server merger would be ideal in my opinion, coming from a guy on Coeurl.
I don't get it. Why do some people choose to be on smaller servers? I always go to the largest in every game. It'll be packed for the first few weeks but it'll be better in long term.

SE will never be able to solve the server problems cause even if they offered free transfers to less populated servers why would anyone want to if they have lot of gil and/or a house and lose it.
I feel you. I'm on Goblin too. I hope more people will come back in 3.4.
Apparently balmung has proved you wrong in that aspect. It been packed and has stayed packed and will stay packed with no end in sight of people still trying to come to it.
As long as it doesn't cause any problem (like frequently lag and dc), being packed is a good thing. I love lively server.
Well the others servers would be lively if everyone didn't flock to one server and correct server locks were in place to distribute the player base better.
