What do you do after calling out the inc? Proceed to stay at base in Hide, recap, repeat? It seems to me that your team thought that you were afking at the base. And I can't blame them, if I saw a DPS on my map staying at one spot for the whole match I would think the same. Go to the ice, hit it, secure more points for your team which is A LOT more important than the ridiculous 2 points per tick from the base. Or even better: do PvP and kill stuff, STEAL 5 points from the enemy team.

Are you mouthing off or something? Im always roaming around solo messing around, trolling bridges, hiding out, ect... I've have yet to be kicked. Perhaps Mael holds people to a higher game standard than the rest of the gc's.

Sure they could be better ways to do PVP. To me, nothing is funnier then seeing a lone dps come to the base, I use trick attack on the poor guy and murder him in a few hits thanks to surprise and vuln up. Or seeing that NIN use detect in the wrong spot and spook him even more. My main point was, it isn't a kick feature rule. It doesn't fall in any of the four points. "he isn't playing my way" doesn't justify a kick.

I also say in chat what im doing, and call out crystals, what team we should attack, whos at the base, and if i need back up. Im not getting kicked for fear of AFK, its for doing a strat. At one point I have a 5 kill streak, killed 2 ices, and was still kicked for hiding at base and defending despite the fact our base repeatedly being attacked by singles from opposing team. And if more then one person voices their complaint in what im doing, i will follow their directions. If one person is just complaining about me being AFK i explain the benefit of it, they go silent, then i get kicked. They need to fix the kick feature so people wont report a abuse kick when players aren't playing my way. I never just stay in Hide, I join in when people are at our base, or pushing toward, I help crystals if near by. I take bases sometimes if its a slow! we were given bases in Shatter for a reason. Defending shouldn't be a kickable offense by anymeans.

And i personally find in 72 it is useless to ninja hide, because they come in big groups, whole parties. While in 24 its more likely just to be a single player or a healer and tank which is easy to take down. And if it is a big group, warn the team, especially since the chat doesn't tell you til its taken, stay hidden and dont feed. Once they start to leave immediately take it back. You have 7 other people to attack ice and feed the enemy. ONE person defending isn't going to make you lose, and is a strat that has gotten the GC a win. By no means is it ever a kick able offense, even if it is a poor strat to you. Can I kick a non dpsing healer now since they annoy me and could pretty much be AFK !

Only one person was complaining, no one else. And i wasn't just doing nothing. If i was AFK, I wouldnt be saying anything, wouldn't have any kills, or ever call for back up. I wasn't feeding, I was using a perfectly good strat. Again "HES NOT PLAYING MY WAY!" should never be a valid reason to kick someone. the dude who kicked me for like the second time in PVP for not playing his way , when hes like the only one complaining, has no reason to kick me. I wasnt cheating, hurrassing, AFK, or offline. If you like my strat or not, i will explain and listen to the majority, not one kid complaining. Just the next match a few people told me to attack Ice, and i did that, despite the base being taken by many a solo dps i would have been able to stop.

Protip: You can bypass the character limit by editing your posts and adding what you need to say. It's a much better option than quad/triple posting.

Anyway, from someone who hasn't even tried raids or any form of PVP in this game, I have to say that you've got to get out there and take a risk sometimes to be able to contribute to your team. Your playstyle sounds like it only works in very specific situations, and unless those conditions are met it probably looks like you are just idling. Don't be so afraid of losing that you put inefficient self-handicaps on yourself.

Base in Shatter isn't that important. Losing one player to defend it isn't worth it at all. Shouldn't do that, especially if your team told you not to do it.
