My Pre Release Character doesn't have level 50 Artifact Gear

My Main character is a level 50 - 51 monk that has been on the game since pre release, When he did the level 45 and 50 quest for monk. He did not receive the level 50 'Melee' artifact gear. There is no way to repeat the quest. GM's cannot help. Why can I not get something entitled to my character and pretty much MAKES him a monk?

You got the "Temple" gear, which is the monk "artifact" gear. The "Melee" "vintage" gear was added as an additional reward from the level 45 and 50 monk quests with the release of Heavensward to help newer players catch up quicker. If you completed those quests before the launch of heavensward, chances are you've had plenty of time to aquire even better gear already. But if you really want the Melee set, you can get it from Kakalan in Revenant's Toll in exchange for antique armour pieces from the dungeons: Snowcloak, Sastasha (hard) and The Sunken Temple of Qarn (hard)

If you misplaced the temple gear, you should be able to get it from the calamity salvager, if it is not there, then you should be able to put in a support ticket as the MNK 45 and 50 quests are the only places to get those. Double check that you have finished the quests "Good Vibrations" and "Five Easy Pieces" and that your gear is not on the calamity salvager before putting in a ticket.
