Suggestion for Invisible walls

I have played ffxiv for a while, i'm kind of a casual player who did not really anticipate in raid bosses or leveling as much as others do. I love to walk/jump around the world, explore the map and housing. However what really annoying me is that there are invisible walls in almost everyplace, some place don't even make a sense that it's there.
I know that it's more like a little detail that not important, but is it possible to remove it or somehow like in Sophia, if people fall from the platform they'll die basically. It's sound crazy but sometime i love to go to the high place or a cliffs just to jump down Sometime, i walked through the city and there is a little gap between platforms, which should able to jump across but we just can't.

Im with you they can get a bit annoying but I think its because this game is instances based anad not an open world type game
