Mounts suggestion

I don't know about the rest of you, but there are a few mounts that I've gotten over the course of playing this game that I wish I had never used the whistle (or key, horn, etc) for in the first place. What I would like to see is a method of converting a mount back into its summoning item. This option can be added in the mount menu. Protection from dropping a whistle and then a player changing their mind can be avoided by means of adding certain mounts (those earned through side quests, achievements, veteran rewards, and MSQ) to the Calamity Salvager. Special storage could also be added in the Armoire for whistle storage.

It's a small QoL request, but I think a lot of people would take advantage of it.

Uh, I don't understand your idea - why do you want to remove and throw away mounts you have already learned for? Sure some are silly, but it's not like they're automatically added to your hotbar - you have to add them individually to your hotbar yourself. If you don't like a mount just ignore it in your mount list, no one is forcing a gun to your head and telling you to use them, 90% of my mounts I never use either, but I still like to have them there in the list for completion's sake.

This really is not a problem to me and I think SE would probably feel the same way I'm afraid.

Simple Enkidoh: mount roulette. As a controller player using a cross hotbar I can't really devote more than one spot to mounts....so I've got two options. Option one: use one mount exclusively ignoring all the others I've gotten and/or worked for since launch, or two: use the mount roulette and hope that I don't get a mount that I'd rather not use (I'm looking at you, mana clipper). I can understand that this might not be an issue for some players, but please understand that it IS an issue to others.

Plus, when you get right down to it mounts are just reusable items. Players should have the option of throwing away items if they want. They don't have to have a reason or justify why they would want to throw an item away to other players. We can toss out anything in this game with the exception of mounts and minions. Want to toss out that anima weapon that you spent months grinding on? The option is there. Doing so might be the height of madness but we still have that option.

I use a controller with the crossbar function myself. All I do is press the start button, pull up the window with all of my mounts and pick the mount I feel like riding at the time. No need to use up a slot on your cross bar at all. It doesn't really take that much more time to pop open a menu and select a mount that way.

I'd like to see customizable mount roulettes myself.
I'd like to exclude the Manacutter and turtle from flying mount roulette and the behemoth from the regular roulette.

The point of a roulette is that sometimes you will not have the most favourable outcome.
