FFXIV Appreciation Thread

I'm not sure what aspects of Final Fantasy 14 (as well as the entire Final Fantasy franchise) to highlight for this; There is something about this game that has attracted very open minded, and friendly people. --Which is not something that can be said for a lot of MMOs--

There are so many things for me to love about this game that I wouldn't know where to start. I seriously love almost everything; I can say that Eorzea is my happy place, haha.

As for the new patch, I think the feature that makes me the most excited is the new /gpose possibilities. I'm going to have a lot of fun with that.

i'm having a really hard time picking one thing to highlight.
Palace of the Dead
The Shantotto crossover event.
The stage play in the current Rising event.
The ninja class with the class story line and Yugiri included.
The fight with Darnus in the Coil.
All the freakin music.
The nods to other final fantasy games(Krile, Matoya, Gold Saucer, Gilgamesh, Ultros, Warring Triad, Crystal Tower)
I have a freakin gun.


Hmmm, maybe the best thing is that it turned one of my best friends into a huge Final Fantasy fan.

The good:
- Music. (The Fierce Battle, Syrcus Tower, and other old songs remixed)
- Colorful landscapes.
- Au ra. (Although women could be higher)
- PotD. (Final boss dress :P )
- Warring Triad.
- Crossover events.
- Glamour (But it could have more freedom yet)
- Y'Shtola 3.0 hairstyle
- All classes in same character (But I need more inventory)

I would list all my fav things about XIV but damn that 1K character limit eh? ;p
So I'll just slim it down to my core favs.

The End game raiding, favourite thing to do in this game and with each new Bahamut or Alexander you added I really enjoyed playing through the content.
My FC, I run my own FC who I've met up with and is going to fan fest with.
The events. Liking the yokai watch so far be it very grindy lol.

lately I've been enjoying the Moogle tribe. I could just sit out there for ages, and play with them in the grass. I'm odd. :3
