Beastmaster idea (nothing original :D)

Honestly the more I hear about Beastmaster, I think were more likely to get a "Minionmaster" battle class. Least with several minions to pick from they could easily be glamoured onto different "roles" for each one (Tank, melee and ranged dps)

The more I think of it I feel like BST might be best used as a tank role. Splitting damage between you and your pet could be the gimmick behind the class. With regards to getting beasts, make an ability like "Tame" that does some decent damage but has an added effect of "taming" a beast under 20% hp.

Only issue is your then making the beast master have more variety in the pets. They will either end up as copy cats of each other in the end (Same stats, same attacks just different look) or your only "taming" will be done in the form of a level 30 quest in which you tame the already pre-set monster your Job Master has picked for you. Don't get me wrong, they may very well allow us to pick our own mob but I don't expect for them to let us. Granted I wouldn't mind if they let us customize its looks in a way like we do, perhaps a pet fantasia being a craft item from Alch but eh.

Story wise, capture a young one or find an egg? > incubate > "its maturing/hatching" >Pet customization screen > Your new pet
