    a.) Retainer bell inside of crafting areas(guilds)
    b.) Different mini-game for each crafting profession
    c.) Display a icon to show buff when crafting
    d.) Recipe Book

    f.) A way to change Linkshells while crafting.
    It's written two times, it shows how much we should have that already.
    Before I first played the game last year, I was really expecting different mini-games for all classes of the Hand and Land. It was a disappointment to see that classes of the Hand had all the same "menu-mini-game" and that classes of the Land, too, had the same mini-game (only with a different moving node).

    I believe it would be awesome if, progressively, new mini-games unique to each classes could be added.
    If Yoshi-P believes it is something that should come in the game, please, tell us. We'll start throwing in the ideas for mini-games for each class.

    Thanks for the feed back and the fixes. Keep them coming. The main point of keeping this list is I really don't think the devs are paying attention too these forums and community as much as me. There are a lot of great ideas out there and I've taken it upon myself to collect them put them in this list so hopefully they will see it and use it. I know a lot of this stuff is coming in one form or another but I'm trying to make sure they understand how to do those things correctly as well. Because they may misunderstand a simple request like we want mail boxes and not get that along with that there are several other features they need to add to make it efficient and work well. Like the mount System great thanks for adding it can we please make it current gen now?

    Environments / The World At large – Making the world feel more alive
    1.) More interactive Objects – for example Let me sit in more chairs near tables (Adventurers guild) and various spots around the world
    2.) Allow us to have different idle stances in passive mode, like NPCs
    3.) Maybe a comment in /check like Bazaar comments (was always nice)
    4.) Have the NPC's move around a bit
    5.) Voice out as much Dialog as possible
    6.) Occasional Mob to Mob interaction
    Would be so cool seeing two wolves in the distance fighting or an occasional larger mob eating a smaller mob. Makes you feel like you ARE in the wild. Makes it more real.
    Add: Lots of open world content, otherwise the world will feel dead even with these changes because everyone will be in an instance somewhere and making a world feel more alive is by actually being a part of it and not in some random cluster that no one else can visit but your party.

    Mob > Mob interaction I recall was from FFXII and XIII which they said they always wanted to do with FFXI, so this is something I definitely expected to see in FFXIV.

    I think some people may have misunderstood your tone, OP. I thought you came across as adversarial the first time I read your post. Re-reading it, I realize that probably wasn't the intention.

    It has been posted somewhere before that there are over 120 people working on this game. I feel like the phrase "hire more people or let us do the fixing for you" is a bit unfair. That's already a lot of people to pay for a game that hasn't made any money for an entire year, and Yoshi is working his butt off trying to give us a quality product (and succeeding, in my opinion).

    Like someone else mentioned, I don't disagree with most (or all, tl;dr) of these changes. We are getting some of this stuff in 1.20, however, and by the time 2.0 launches, I would be very surprised if most of these concerns hadn't been addressed.

    I will say this, however. Not everybody has reached a unanimous consensus on all of the changes proposed in this thread, so just because you never get to cross a certain item off of your list doesn't necessarily mean that it wasn't addressed by the development team, or that it was implemented incorrectly. They may go in a different direction with some things, and not everybody will disagree with their decisions.

    In any case, you have a solid list. Thank you for compiling this.

    Some of your line item entries are already in the works and some won't be needed at all with what they have released that they have planned. Some even have been added and you maybe didn't realize it.

    To make your list better, I'd maybe suggest going through and research what has been released on each of these subjects. A few of these things are in the works..

    You might also want to add a disclaimer that this is your personal master list, and not necessarily something that has been fleshed out by the player base. Gleaned from the forums yes, but some of these features might not actually be desired by even the majority.


    My contribution - quick observations, comments & opinions in Red
    3.) Mail system
    1.) 1 Hour delivery time? Able to send Items, gil and Messages. (why would we want to wait 1 hour? I remember sending things to friends in FFXI because they needed it right then.. not in an hour. Why make it harder on people? Some people only have an hour to play..)
    b.) For instant mail and an extra gil fee a mail man or choco NPC will deliver instantly to player when they log on or wherever they are. (Maybe cute in theory, but could cause issues. Especially if a player who is out in the field is confronted by a mail man, but they have no inventory spaces available to take items...forced to throw items away? Added stress on server when 400 mailmen are out delivering items? I'd rather have my mailbox at my house)

    10.) PLAYER HOUSING (suggestion)
    1. A retainer bell so you can speak with your retainer at home.

    11.) Social list Overhaul

    b.) Allow us to accept/decline people when people add us to friendslist (not sure this should matter.. why should we require this? Why require people to be obliged to add someone to their friendslist just so that they can appear on someone else's list? I think it is fine the way it is. )
    d.) Allow us to remove friends (I believe you can do this already. I have done it myself removing my husband's old deleted char from my friendslist. Right click on their name in the Friendslist and I believe the option is there - If I remember right)

    13.) Market Wards Overhaul


    1.)Ability to navigate to your retainer when in ward (Like Gates at end of Guildleve) (sounds like this will not be needed with what they have planned. Whole ward is going to be changed, and you won't be swimmng through a sea of NPC's)

    Commands


    5.) Allow /invite [Player Name] (We do this because the current add command is long and stupid) (Not sure if you knew, but you can invite to party from your friendslist and they don't have to be sitting right beside you, although they might have to be in same zone... not sure)
    6.) Allow us to /check mobs and reply in text with difficulty – I can beat Mobs 13 levels higher than me sometimes and other times get stomped if they are 5+
    (There is already a setting where you can add the mobs level and aggro icon next to its name. Its very useful, should check it out. Don't even have to target them to see what level they are.)

    Good list OP. Even if the dev team SAID they are working on something, don't take it off this list until it is DONE. No one crosses an item off their grocery list until it's in the buggy, no?
