    FFXIV on PlayStation Pro?

    Would anyone want this or like it to come to PlayStation Pro i think it be awesome upgrade to graphic that PS4 has. I like to hear everyone though. So please let me know and if any Mod can ask if Yoshi think about it be nice to hear from him to

    P.S I already know it wont be beat PC Graphic

    It's what was previously called Playstation Neo and/or Playstation 4.5. It's an upgrade to the existing PS4 allowing 4k gaming and video capabilities. It was officially announced and named Playstation Pro today.

    You can just run FFXIV on the pro. They don't have to bring it to the upgraded ps4.

    Yes, of course FFXIV will be playable on the PS4 Pro. The question is whether or not SE will upgrade FFXIV to take advantage of some of the Pro's increased capabilities...

    FFXIV is one game you may not see a ton of additions for ps4 pro. It already runs at 60fps on ps4, and the graphics are already nearly equal to extreme settings on PC. You may see a slight bump to things like Shadows or draw distance if they wanted to, but its already pretty close to pc graphics as it is.

    I made a thread for it super early, back when most people didn't believe me that a PS4 Pro even exists, but devs have been prepping for months for it so of course it exists.

    Basically games which have already been published are not required to make a "forwards-compatible" patch to take advantage of the Pro spec, but they can if they choose to, and newly published games will be required to support the higher spec.
