This is true, but the LNC was also level 40. They have either not done their MSQ (which implies they spammed FATEs), or have been choosing Allagain Coins over gear upgrades (which means they have more than enough gil to buy better gear and weapons). Doing the MSQ also opens up more side quests in the zone, which also offer upgrade rewards.

If he spams FATE it means he must have enough seals to buy proper lvl 40 equipment.
And the games tells you you need to do to your class quests, and the last class quest informs you about the job quest.

So, for that situation to be "reasonable", this player would have to :

• No do the MSQ up to level 40
• Not bother doing its class quest to stay uninformed about the job quest
• Not leveling through FATEs or wasting all his seals on anything but gear
• Not doing Brayflox's Longstop of Qarn to 1) being already told that he should have a job by now and 2) not having any reasonable gear dropped
• Having no idea that you shoul keep your stuff as close as possible to your actual level

Ok, at one point can we say that someone is being bad on purpose or just doesn't give a damn without being called toxic ?
