the thing is that it was the same group of people making the correction and then farming the dungeon(s). In the meantime, we have people in DF joining with the attitude of "going blind" or "DO NOT TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD" because they want to learn on their own with random people. That is a problem on its own. You can't expect people from DF to always be nice - they are human beings, and they might want to relax and enjoy a -one go- clear and then take it easy from the stressful day in their life. Unfortunately, that can be said as well for people who wants to enjoy the game and go blind because they want to work hard in game to enjoy and relax.

If you got a bad luck, you will get a party that disband. Once disbanded, they will need to queue again. Of course, they can use PF, but nowadays, we are hearing people who are trying sneak in farm parties to officially learn and then may be get a clear. It makes it tedious for everybody.

It's really about not taking yourself (and the game) so seriously. The need to type out a few sentences from time to time isn't the same inconvenience as someone demanding you to cure cancer while you try to enjoy this game. It's not the end of the world to have someone slow something down a little, nor is it the end of the world to have an unsuccessful group.

Sure, it's frustrating to waste an unreasonable amount of time (referring to that unsuccessful group), especially if it's involving content that is universally regarded as easy, but that's part of the price you pay for playing a game involving other people. Some folks need to get it in their head that it's just a video game. Being a d-bag to someone who clearly understands that aspect better than them is not helping prevent that inevitable aneurysm said rage-tastic player is sure to get.

Yes, I think that giving advise is good. The problem is when the new player dont want to listen, but people wanting to join a farm party without knowledge don't have an excuse compared to people doing it in DF.

Yes, absolutely. That's a case where a d-bag is a d-bag, regardless of their player status, assuming they understand what "farm status" means... even if they don't, it's kinda on them to figure that one out. I don't believe in babying people when it comes to aspects that can involve deception. Likewise though, I would fault the leader on the matter if they didn't do the normal question routine of at least asking the player if they've done the content before.

Of course, I think I read some threads people then ranting about they getting kicked out because the leader didn't want to help and heard from the otherside leader badmouthing the new players . The real problem is people behavior to different situations.

Why do gamers ALWAYS blame the new people all the time. Apparently you can't be new to shit, you MUST know everything about everything before you even set foot in my party in freaking DF or else you're a piece of sh-t and need to jump off a cliff. No wonder people meet bad new players and they don't listen when they are instantly treated like shit, WHY should they listen to you?

I'm just going to reiterate what I said to the OP. This isn't a research paper. It's a game. You shouldn't treat the game like it's "homework". Viewing the game this way is on you, buddy. Since you're a new player, there's a pretty high odds that you're going to be paired with people who already know what they're doing, and THEY will be the ones helping and leading YOU. The thing is, this is a social game, meaning you should be interacting with your fellow players, and a great way to do that is going in blind, saying you're new, and asking for tips and advice. It gets people talking to each other, and you get a hands on experience that will harden your gaming skills, because what you don't get out of guides is instinct and reflexes. You deprive yourself of any fulfilling experience. You know why a lot of people don't like Superman? They find a man who runs around beating people up and never getting hurt boring.

Didn't know a single boss fight. Died 3 times during the chimera fight. His excuse? "first run!"

Now I know that there some new players who actually do look up basic dungeon tactics before queueing and I know that people make mistakes (I make plenty of mistakes myself). But when someone obviously does not give enough crap to look up their class or a basic dungeon run. Why would me or anyone else want them to get carried to 60 and continue doing the same thing?
Or they could learn the way i did in 2.0 by running content and practice

Or just use the "Focus Target" and place it somwhere you always have an eye on. When you can follow the cast bars of the enemy, its getting much easier to react
