There are none. The limitations are for the system only. Not PC and PS4. What can be seen in high def is nullified on PS3.
Can't see 40 players at once on your PS3? Thats a PS3 or lower optmized PC limitation.
Framerate drops on high detailed battles, PS3 or bad PC limitation, PS4 or a good PC can keep a good framerate.
SE are able to implement these features, they just haven't recieved enough feedback, and or too lazy to do these things.
And btw, they removed the arge deserts because they wanted the overworld to be easy. PS3 can load it, they'd just have to decrease the viewing distance of objects like PS3 currently does for Heavensward so it loads reasonably for the system.
Limitations is a cheap excuse that's really getting old. So I'll just put this here. If we actually had PS3 limitations as an issue, then why would SE implement a mode like LoV which is a whole new mode of gameplay, and has nearly nothing to do with the actual game.

It's a stupid meme from FFXI that has been revived (back then it was 'PS2 limitations') and given a new spin simply to bash the PS3 (and PS4 too), mostly by stuck-up so-called 'PC master race' players (and before you pass judgement, I'm a PC player too, yet I'm perfectly happy with the console versions, yes even the PS3), who dislike the 'dirty console peasants befouling their game', and use any small excuse to 'explain' why the game is supposedly being 'held back' as a result.
It's just a myth, despite what some might believe.

I'm all for open world dungeons, but Xephetol will most like- no-wont be some big place to explore. Long would be more close to the truth, or should I say:
HALLWAY LONG! XD
Already I see a set path in an S shape. Straight port, tag, beat down, the ol' usual.
Anyways, Open world dungeons, Yeeeeeessssss. Someone mentioned it on another forum actually but their idea was we'd explore new beast tribe areas that are highly risky to navigate alone, though I dunno how this stands up now after Xephatol is taking that idea and tossing it. I still think some areas of the world map should be selected for remodeling so we can get some massive Open World Danger Zones. It'd be marked on our map as purple or at least a darker tone, enemies would be formidable with more fierce attacks. Health regen will be slowed when out of battle making coop more optimal but still maintain solo-ability on simple mobs.
Environmental hazards like pitfalls (THAT DONT MAGICALLY APPEAR), bombs (previous note >:/), trip wires etc. And several paths to make it toward the goal or treasure hidden deep into the zones. And yes, plz add Notorious Monsters. Some requiring teamwork, but nothing drastic like needing 4 people to stand on an object to avoid instant death. Perhaps hitting a hanging trap cage to fall on the monster, while activating another trap. That kinda deal. Ok, idea sneezed out. -sniffles-

Once 4.0 comes out friends, im pretty sure we'll see crazy stuff that was previously not possible, due to the PS3 garbage limitation which held PS4/PC back.
