    I did these in a night and there are a bunch of details missing but i thought i might share this quick thing idea i had when glamour this piece on. i really think that just a darker values on the chest while making the detailed trimmings stand out and getting rid of those red bits that literally never change from a drab washed out red.

    i'm just sharing my idea.

    Those red areas that never go away are pretty bad. I know a few people who were super excited to get a dye-able version like Doga and Uni's in Crystal Tower, but...our dyed HA gear was kind of a let down.

    I have always said dying should alter the entire outfit. agree op.

    A few items leave behind a faded strip of original color like you have shown, and it totally ruins the look imo.

    We should also be able to dye primary and secondary materials..being left with bits of brown/black trims etc can also ruin the "look" Many games off 2 stage dying, it is far superior.

    Dye intensity should also be uniform regardless of what material is being dyed..not "faded" or end up a muted shade .
