Materia Stat Cap????????

I dont know but i wish a dev would say something on this since the orginal post on the materia is obviously not how the system works.

Well, if it were 10 perfect materia of a single stat was the max cap one could get, that would be pretty interesting. It even leaves open the idea of even better gear with 2 materia of one stat and 2 materia of another or something. (If you happened to get past a third meld, lol.)
