That YES!!!! Finally!! moment

Last March I suddenly became interested in the idea of owning a house in game. I spent a whole day going from The Goblet to the The Mists to Lav Beds, checking out every single plot to see which I liked best. The goal was basically to find my ideal plot so that I could snatch it up as soon as 3.3 went live. Some hours later my friend sends me a message "A house just opened up in Lav Beds" Thought she was joking so I took my sweet time getting there. Showed up some 10 minutes later and realized she was telling the truth, I managed to snatch it up just as another player showed up.

It wasn't my preferred plot, but its close to the summoning bell/marketboard/aetheryte. I've fallen in love with it now so I dont think I'll be getting rid of it any time soon.

Got my Ramuh mount yesterday. Granted I haven't tried much since 3.x and unsync became a thing, but I did a lot back in 2.3-2.55. Just Ifrit left, then onto the remaining birbs.

Okay okay. That may be slightly cheating the topic. But we DID spend three years in the trenches waiting for this news.

Recently beating Thordan Ex with my content static. We're a great group, but we're all busy adults and we can only meet one hour per week. It took us four or five sessions to win, but because of RL events those were spread over maybe two or 2.5 months. Pretty satisfying when we won, though, although kind of crappy that this content is so difficult for hard-working players to get through.

Uh.... the day I finally caught Namitaro for the Feast of Famine quest. It took me months, hundreds, if not over a thousand casts. I remember literally gasping IRL as I saw my little avatar stand up to pull in her catch, holding my breath until I saw that I had actually caught him!

I finally got the mats I needed for the Bismark Bow - (the one that glows). It's beautiful and I've always wanted it but goes for about 8 mil on my server. I feel like I'm complete now. I freaked out when the person making it was like I'll go for HQ and then froze for like a minute. I was like, OH GOD PLEASE DON'T BREAK IT. But it worked out. haha. I love it. =)

I hear ya!! Same here I can never enjoy end game to the fullest because of time limitations and how long it takes to find a good party, let alone clear content like Thordan EX etc. My one big Yes moment will be the day I eventually clear Thormarch(?) EX

best YES!!!! Finally!! moment for me was holding the Ironworks Fishing Rod in my hand, back in 2.4, after one month of fishing all the big fish in the game.

My "finally!" moment is non combat related. My most recent one was finally successfully crossing Thavnairian onion seeds after about 7 weeks of inter-crossing this with that. I should also mention that I leveled my gatherers not only for my crafters, but for gardening as well and had my eyes on the seeds during the whole time. So the wait for the seeds has actually been around 2 months, and I finally have a full bed growing. All from scratch and not one gil was spent other than on krakka root seeds, which are only purchasable.

Got my Barreleye Fish before 2 Days after an half of an Year and was like.... "CURSE YOUUUUU".

The same goes for Endoceras, I got that one right before 10 Minutes and just Facepalmed due of RNG
