Have never started any type of run and I want to run some specific dungeons. Unsynced.
How do I go about setting it up? And what do I do when I finally have a group?
Any help would be appreciated.

Well, you would open the party finder menu and select "Recruit Members." From there, you get a window that lets you select the type of duty and specific duty (e.g. Raids > Final Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 1) as well as the ability to set the role and item level requirements for each spot. It's all fairly intuitive once you get going. Once you confirm everything, you'll show up in PF.
From there, you pretty much just wait and hope people join, or you can shout in populated areas to advertise. If you fill your party, getting started is like anything else, open duty finder and queue (setting unsynced, obviously) or go to the dungeon if it's the current tier of Savage. If you want to go without a full party, then you can end the recruitment through the first party finder window and then continue as if you were full.
Open up PF. Your keyboard shortcuts may vary and I don't remember the defaults. So if you need help finding it, it's that button on the mini menu:Once you're in there, I think it's best if you click on everything yourself, so you can explore all of the options. You can set what type of task you're trying to accomplish, what instance you want to run, what roles you need in the party, -which- jobs you want to restrict each role to, etc.
Once you have your party, open up your DF window:and then...Keep in mind that you can only run ARR content unsynced. Anything from HW can't be run unsynced yet.
