How much "output" stat do you need to get additional gathering chances?

Yep.. either way at 114 or 115 you can start to put stats elsewhere. My LS and I have been trying to test VIT/MND effect on gathering as well as ability Proc. So far we are leaning towards a VIT/Perception build

Im doing a MND/Perception build myself, I tried VIT perception already...so now im onto MND.

I have 153 perception, 273 mnd. (I SP tarred belts, normal electrum earrings/raptor choker, and wear +1 SP wrist instead of hq mnd) Otherwise I could use a +1 earring and a +1 raptor belt for 3 more perception.

Before I ran a 160 perception build and while I was getting about 12 hq ores per stack of 99, I am noticing master of rock proc'ing a lot more upping my hq yield to about 19 hq ores per stack of 99 normal.

I want to say it proc's about 1 in 3 nodes, where as before it was proc'ing about 1 in 5.

im at 145 perception 160 with food(which i usually do). I have mind ring and mind materia, ill have to double meld my glasses to gain a lil more. Also i can prob scrap my gatherers ring for a mind ring since my output is around 125.

just checked my mind is 235 so a lil extra materia and HQ rings and ill be good, ty for the info.

Current set up is 147 Perception, 285 Mnd. Once I hq my toif of coiling (have the mats now) then itll be 151 Perception and 285 Mnd. My goal is to reach the 300 mnd mark, but im going to have to either

1) drop my perception from 151 to 144
or
2) Double my hq felt coif of toiling, which will cost me lots of money if im unlucky lol!

So we'll see how it goes aha. I might switch out my linen bottoms for my raptorskin culottes of mind just to test the difference between having 300 mind and 151 perception. Ima try for that double meld first. If I fail then we'll see.

I couldn't muster the courage to double my +1 coif so I just threw a 20 mind in it.

Well I just had a friend try to make two for me, but one blew up, so i just single melded it. So 285 mnd 151 perception, which is 166 perception with my food. Honestly I wouldn't mind having 160 perception with food, which means I can drop about 6 perception. Hmm I just meld some culottes and see how that works. It wont get me 300 but ill at least be over 290. That might not make much of a difference tho, fml.

Guess ill have to double meld that hq dolabora after all lol. FFFFFFFUUUUU

I've slowly started building up MIND and I definitely noticed the proc with Master of Rock go up. Just got my MIND to 301 and test tomorrow. But at 296 MIND I can reliably count on it proccing at each node. It's very rare to see it not proc...like 8/10 node is a proc.
