Thread: Static looking for 2 DPS and 1 healer for 3.4, no exp. necessary!

We’re looking to build a static that is ready to go by 3.4. Our goal is to get as far as we can in Midas Savage before 3.4 to ensure our members are qualified and can work together as a unit. Currently, we're on A7S, but will consider members who have no experience. We plan on doing all Extreme Primals released during this time. If time permits, we may revisit some older raid tiers, such as Gordias Savage. We are looking for the following roles:

-BRD/MCH OR DRG/NIN/MNK *(See disclaimer)

-BLM/SMN OR DRG/NIN/MNK *

-WHM/SCH/AST

The following qualities are what we’re looking for in our players:

-Shows up to raids and on time.

-Has strong raid awareness.

-Comes prepared to raid (food/pots/gear/research).

-Must be able to work productively in a group, including receiving/giving constructive criticism.

We use Discord for voice (mandatory) and toxic attitudes will not be tolerated. All prospective candidates will be given a trial if they pass the short interview.

Our raid days and times are: Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday (8:30-11:30 PM EST)

*Disclaimer: We will consider a melee DPS, but they will be held to a higher standard. We would highly prefer a BRD/MCH, ideally a MCH.

Well, my server's raid scene is kind of dying... maybe like 5 good raid groups, and another 10-15 crappy ones. So I was considering switching servers over to Balmung cause I have some other friends who moved there. And I was wondering if I could find a group to join before I move so I can guarantee a group before 3.4.

I am an iLvl 240 BLM main. My old raid group and I have cleared A5S through A7S. Bit slow in the middle, so we weren't able to get through A8S. But to be honest, no group on our server got through A8S.
I also just got my WHM to 60 (ilvl 235) and would be willing to try learning how to raid with that if needed.

I am more of a mechanic savvy person, my dps will be low in the beginning because I put high priority on doing mechanics correctly. But once I get it down, I can optimize my dps pretty well.

Hello! First of all, is there another place where I can message you privately? (Reddit/Discord/etc.).

We welcome candidates from other servers (in fact, our previous caster DPS was from another server!), but we can't guarantee that you will be a member of the static simply by transferring over. On the upside however, since we're on the same data center, we can use raid finder for your trials so there is no risk in you transferring and we can let you know what we think before coming over.

Is your group still looking for heals? I am a seasoned 238 whm that also interchanges to 240 ast when I can. I have a5s-a7s on farm and was working on a8s with my previous static. We were pretty much at jwaves which is literally the final brute justice, enrage timer phase.
