And where are these people, exactly? Who says it is strictly anti-fans of 1.0 who want the items? What about the people who couldn't play? Or newer players who never had the chance? Your argument is based on a hypothetical group of people that in reality is likely very, very small. Why should items from a game most deemed horrible and not worth there time be rewarded for not playing? I played 1.0 and loved it and I hate with a passion people who bash the version but still demand the items it held. Also anyone was able to buy legacy to get the rewards even if you weren't playing. And we Goobbue mount ingame you just need to do Slyph dailies to get it.
It is. But fortunately for us, FFXIV is not an out of print comic book from a publishing house long since dead, but a thriving game currently in business with the codes already implemented! What luck!
Yes that is true, but it is unfair that one should pay a crazy amount of money for things that was so dirty cheap back then. We want them for the same price! (It is funny how you are sending me to a place that is unfair. You want fairness so provide me with a place that is fair to my pocket too)
Because real life gold and diamonds and money are vastly different from a virtual animal already provided in a game, and it is sad you have to be informed of that.
The gist of this thread:

In life you can't get everything, what more for a game. Learn to grow, be mature child.

It is MMO virtual world, therefore real life rules must apply here too, because in this virtual world we deal with exactly same people and their desires/capabilities as in real world, and it is sad you have to be informed of that (even sadder that Yoshida must be informed that this is MMO, too).
