More walking and running animations

I say put the back in and let us choose which one to use. We can toggle it as we want. I would like to have the old animation back.

Wasn't most things animation locked? That'd be a nightmare to have now.

When I played a female Hyur they ran as if they were being chased by an angry horde of bees.

...or Female hyur could stop running like they're stepping in something distasteful.

And here I am actually liking my run animation. >.>;

But yes! I'm all for more diversity and options in all aspects of characterization.

Trust me I want them back as well. I want a lot of things we will never see again :/ but yoshi won't do this because he doesn't like what if scenarios as we have learned many times already.

How about having a stance choice when creating or editing a character? Like I'm a kitty girl but would love the emotes from the female au ra. I mean if DCUO can do it, on ps3 mind you, then why not FFXIV?

Because giving one race's animations to another race would be taking away what makes that race unique! Duh!

In all seriousness though: I'd love to not have the Vanille/princess run on my female midlander dark knight alt. It's a cringe worthy animation especially in heavy armor. Highlander, Miqo'te, and Au Ra running animations look so much better.

Exactly this! I want to be a Miqo (crazy cat lady FTW) but I love the Hyur Highlander emotes so much more than Miqo's so I can't bring myself to change. ):
