    Forum Registration Closed by the Administrator

    Details
    There seems to be a problem with the forum registration probably based on ip address region/location. I was unable to register from my computer, I kept getting the message "Registration has been closed by the Administrator".

    The only workaround was to register using my phone and the mobile site of the forum.

    Date/Time: since forum introduction March 8, 2011
    OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
    Browsers: Firefox, Chrome, IE9

    Are you clicking the "Square Enix Account" button located in the top right of the website? You actually log into the forum via that button using your Square Enix account information. After that, you'll be logged into the forum.

    Yes I was using the "Square Enix Account" button at the top and after login I was redirected to the forum with the message "Registration has been closed by the Administrator". Note that I no longer have the issue since I successfully registered via the mobile website using my phone. The issue was at the moment of registering to the forum.

    I had the exact same problem when trying to sign up, but I just needed to try again and it worked the second time

    I did try a few times each different day but with no success until I tried on the mobile phone site.

    I also had this problem for over 3 days. Initially I thought this was a problem due to my connection which was laggy a few days ago but then I tried again and still no luck. I also tried using IE to register and I still got the error message that Forum Registration Closed by the Administrator. I was able to finally register my forum username and account via registering using my mobile 5 minutes ago.

    p.s. I'm from the Philippines. Not sure if this is an IP thing?
