    Play with this website.Crafting Simulator.

You select your class, recipe, stats, then choose skills. The simulator will allow you to preview your craft.

Wait... The ARR second book? Can't you just freehand that? As in play it as it lays?

Should be dead easy. On an alt I got them all at L52ish, no overmelds and cheap CP vendor food.

How do I know this? My sister is in this bind. She only has the level 15 cross-class actions. With just those and level 58 NQ equips the craft BARELY touches 40-ish percent. The only thing that can save her is either being lucky or getting Steady Hand 2 and the CRP level 50 ability.

Seeing as how its more likely to suffer a terrible accident in real life than have this game give you a break in luck, I would say she would have to force herself to spend time she doesn't have to level up jobs she does not care about. Way to go dev. team, you don't want omni-crafters but can't do anything reliably without being one.

But I digress. Topic poster dude, you are going to have to level up your other crafting jobs or invest in some seriously overpowered gear if you want to do this craft reliably.

Not all of them. After the Level 15 skills (Tricks of the Trade, Hasty Touch, Manipulation, etc.) that you can easily have all of, Byregot's Blessing (CRP 50), Steady Hand II (CUL 37), and Careful Synthesis II (WVR 43) are the important ones for doing ARR recipes. The others are not necessary.

For example, with just those skills, a L60 Weaver with 600 Craft, 600 Control, and 397 CP (easily accomplished with iLvl 110-150 gear with two or three CP+4 melds and Baked Onion Soup HQ) can craft Intricate Silver Brocade HQ using:

    Inner Quiet
    SH2+5xHT
    CS2
    Master's Mend II
    SH2+5xHT
    Manipulation
    SH2+2xHT
    Great Strides
    Byregot's Blesssing
    3xCS2

You can have 2 HT's fail and have a 100% chance at HQ. 3 failures gives a 87% chance, 4 a 61% chance. And that's starting with all NQ mats, when at the very least the Silver Brocade (50 **) should be HQ. Plus you can move one of the final CS2's to before the Byregot's to get a second chance at a Good or Excellent condition.

P.S. you have a 55% chance of having 2 or less out of 12 HTs fail when they are all buffed by SH2. In total, your odds, using that rotation and those stats, of getting an HQ result are in excess of 85%, starting with NQ mats.

This is good to know. However, it is still sad that you need to have multiple jobs leveled up quite a bit to reliably craft those items in HQ.

They vehemently want to remove omni-crafting from the playing field but they don't do much to make it possible. The specialist stones give too little a buff and the specialist actions (save maybe 1) are too weak and unreliable.

Come on dev team, gotta give us level playing field if you want to get rid of omni-crafting that badly.

Oh well, gotta tell my sister to level up CRP and CUL, I can see her going ugh already.

Can't you just buy the item from the market board now?

The lvl 1 book items can be purchased from the mb. The lvl 2 is still market board restricted. I made all of mine once I got to 60 and made hq serpentskin equipment.

To be honest the lvl 2 books usually only gear goods and gear useful to make glamour items. It could easily be skipped while she pushes to 60
