New Mid-Core static Needs 1 WHM/AST and 3 DPS

Overview

• Looking for pleasant / mature / skilled / hopefully-funny members for a Mid-Core newly forming static.
• This static is forming for 3.4 content (and 3.3 in the meantime).
• My goal is to keep this group low-stress, but also to make meaningful progression in 3.4
• The target amount of weekly raid time is 7-9 hours per week, averaging 8 depending on member flexibility.
• There will be tryouts for the positions, in the form of the Stone-Sea-Sky dummies at the very least, and most likely also some Midas Savage or NidEx to check for awareness and mechanics.

Rules/Expectations

• Make the days and times you commit to. If you can't make it, it's not the end of the world, but please give me at least an hour of notice, the more the better. Minor lateness is fine, but try to avoid it. Multiple No-Call-No-Shows will get you replaced quickly. Absence with forewarning that ends up being excessive will also eventually get you replaced, please don't apply if you cant commit.
• I expect good DPS/HPS. Know your class, own your class. Not asking for perfection, but 3.4 WILL be challenging, and require strong class mechanics to make progress while undergeared.
• I expect you to not rage.
• Voice chat is required, and we use Discord. Anyone can at the very least listen to the callouts, but mics are highly preferred (not required necessarily). If you are on console and can't even use a laptop or the discord phone app, I'm sorry; I just can't make an exception for you.

Recomendations

• Cap your tomes every week. You would be surprised how many people don't. It shows a lack of effort if you can't be bothered to run a handful of roulettes every week.
• If you can afford to save gil for buying early 3.4 crafted pieces that would be awesome. I won't require it, as the costs will be steep, but it will jumpstart progression and make things that much easier.
• Be social! We should all be doing this to have fun, don't be a stranger, come talk in Discord and do random shit.
• Use your brain and exercise critical thinking. If you have a suggestion about improvement to fight strategies, composition, or even class rotations, please speak up (Just try and be graceful about it and not hostile). I am not trying to be a master that orders his servants around.
