more items in housing

Had a FC member state that the medium I just bought next door to the FC mansion was a bit much for a single person. My response was "only because you haven't had a small and hit that creativity roadblock yet!". I'm sure most of us started with a FC room and then if you were fortunate you landed a small plot. Definitely and upgrade but immediately filled before you barely started.

I do not plan to make a furniture wall and block all the house. Increasing the item limit is not helping a lot as you overload the already small house. It doesn't help at all.

Yes it does. Appearently you have no idea about furniture combinations and the like. Just one simple bathtub may take up to 50 item slots. Does it look overloaded? No, because all this furniture is in one place, you can't even see 90% of it but it's needed for the functionality.
Same if you want ANY extra decorations.
Like for my library, I wanted to add lights to the bookshelves because our local library has that and it makes for a wonderful look if you dim the big lights.
Well, had to give up on that, as it would have required 90 item slots and left the other floors of the house completely barren.

Please only speak for yourself if all you can think of with more item slots is adding more walls

I'm not sure if this is quite in line with what everyone wants but I had a suggestion. I would like to see some armory type items added. The ability to display weapons and armor around the house would be nice. It was really nice to be able to store some trophies like that in Skyrim around the house.

Decoring it. Any room to have a minimun of detail needs between 50-70 items. I could easily use 80 on a proper bathroom. Considering a Mansion has 4 rooms (basement, ground floor and upper floor wings) you could divide it 50-50-50-50 to make the 200, but good luck making the basement look good tho, way too big for any detail.

The more detail you want in a house, the more items do you need, 200 items is way too low, considering how many housing items are, it should be at least 400. Double it all across the board for all houses.

I used to decorate manor in EQ2, having 1k+ slots was nice.

i like the ideas mentioned about adding floors but the item slots r still to low i mean if i had more slots i could make things look more well done. i mean look and the amount of slots we can use on walls, rugs and table top items. some r so small it becomes a waste to use em cause you end up with a lot of empty space in the house.i also think there is a lot of unused spac ein my yard since i can place things around its border but it would mean making my yard itself less nice.

I'd love that if they were to add slots for housing so we could have more, and the ability to have more floors too.
