They could have Mogstation, promotional and seasonal minions/mounts get separate tabs, acting like the seasonal achievements (only appearing in the log after you get them).

But yeah, some sort of better search feature would be nice (180 minions and 51 mounts here. If I had the money I'd get the Mog station ones and have even more issues...)
