Could we get a "Log Style" version of the mount and minion menus?

The sightseeing log has a really nice [?] for all the sightseeing views that you don't have. I think it would be nice to have a complete list of all the minions and mounts. The ones you have are "lit up" and usable and the ones you are missing could be the [?] or just a grey version of the icons. I feel this would help people know what they are missing at a glance.

Personally I find myself going back and forth with the internet trying to figure out what ones I still need and, since more and more minions and mounts will be coming in the future, I think this would be a nice QoL update.

The problem with a sightseeing log style menu for minions and mounts is the fact that there are a number of minions and mounts that are now completely unattainable (and will never be made attainable again), like the Legacy Chocobo, 1.0 Gobbue, Wind-Up Dalamud, Wind-Up Bahamut etc, thus this would mean if you haven't got these minons and mounts it would leave 'gaps' in the listing that would always be there, taunting the player subconsciously and frustrating them to no end. As areas listed in the Sightseeing Log are always open and always attainable, thus it means it never has this problem. Thus I don't see SE adding this I'm afraid.

As Istaru mentioned, there are plenty of websites online that list all the available mounts and minions and how to get them if you've lost track of what you haven't found yet - I personally use Gamerscape's minion and mount pages myself.

can just make it only include currently obtainable ones, not counting ones that are available outside the game

I like the idea of it, but as Enkidoh said above some of them aren't obtainable any more and would forever taunt you (I know that would drive me nuts...)

It could only show ones that are still available to get, but then it's no longer really a complete list and (to me anyway) doesn't that defeat the point in a way?

What I would really like is a search interface though... I'm up to 197 of the 201 minions and that's 8 pages to look through whenever I want to find a specific minion. I can't be the only one with this problem?

I would prefer ingame to looking in website. Would make easier to see what is missing.

I'd love a search function for the minions myself.
Logs I can go either way with. There are a lot of in game mounts and minions that there's a good chance I'll never get (mostly due to being linked to PVP wins or Savage Raiding) so I'm not terribly excited about being taunted with those blank spaces.
However if it would be useful for others to see what they're missing it could be a good feature to add.
