Thread: Preparing for 4.0

I enjoyed reading this thread to see it's a mix of people sharing their 3.4 and 4.0 wishes both.... lol

Well as far as what to save for 3.4... It's so hard to say! I mean, if you want my humble opinion... I'd say don't throw away your old alex gear and/or tokens... You might be desynthing them soon for rare mats (That's what happened during the final crafting recipe patch of coil days). If you don't desynth, you might want to level it? However, is SE really going to do this exactly to formula? We already saw them switch it up with different things already (favor mats for instance). I really REALLY don't think we will see a return of the favor mats. I hope we don't at least.

I know everyone heard the dev team say the last recipe patch was supposed to be a catch up patch for everyone to get their crafted battle gear and etc... But all I can think about is so was the similarly timed patch during 2.0. I wouldn't doubt that the final patch is meant to keep us a bit busy as we probably aren't seeing any other major content patches before 4.0 (just please...no more gathering favors...pls!). I mean, I hope we see a few patches, maybe a new primal but nothing too crazy I'd think. They are already working on 4.0 after all (I read they are already doing the voice acting). Oh we get another 24man tower ...maybe before 4.0 besides the last part of alex?

Well for hoarding... Gil.. lots and lots of Gil. I'm a tad crazy when it comes to orchestrion rolls and unfortunately I wind up having to use the MB to get them sometimes. Having a poor clear rate on HW extremes will do that(still working on thordan ex and seph ex. Let's not talk about nid ex). I uh.. I also really don't like having to do t9 so that's gonna be one I need to purchase too. Farmed for one of the rolls from it, don't wanna farm it again.

Also aiming at getting my classes to 60. I've got 4 total, SMN, SCH, PLD, and ALC. I have 21 left to go for... This is going to take a long time. :P

I want to be able to clear all the extremes before 4.0 rolls out as well and luckily, I got a good chunk of time to do that as well. You shall not elude me forever Thordan EX! I shall have my victory!

My only goal is to level all my remaining classes (DoW and DoM are all level 60), for me this means that I am working on leveling my crafting and gathering classes. I guess making a plan right now would be too soon for me, but after 3.5/3.55 releases, I should have a plan for things that I need to do before the expansion releases.
