So as new player i won't be able to get equip from tometstone éso ? if it's the case i just hate this idea, i want many sets of equip from éso.
i'm not that far in the story to reach them and i don't understand why it's totally removed, poetics are way older and i was able to obtain my sets while enjoying the game !

If i'm wrong tell me, cause this news as i understand it leaves me a disgusting taste in mouth :/

Eso will be remove, but I believe they mentioned that the gears will be obtainable by other means. Like other tome gears in the past.

Yep, I'v seen in ishgard how to obtain old mémo sets, it's just a pain to gather for old equip... while with poetics it's fast and easy...

They did the same thing with Soldiery. It used to be Soldiery and Poetics at level 50 (And other tomestones before that that got cycled into obscurity) and when the new expansion came, they did away with Soldiery gear and made Poetics all you have at 50.

When 4.0 comes you can garuantee they're going to do the same thing with Lore. Lore will be removed from the game (but the gear will be incorporated into another, different grind) and Scripture tomes will be the only thing to get at level 60.

Then we'll cycle through four different tomestones at the end of 4.0, ending it with just one tomestone type.

And so, the cycle will continue for as long as the game does. Feeling the burn from that treadmill yet?

It's too bad we don't live in the world of Orience and get our memory cleared with the beginning of a new cycle in this endless spiral
