For my FC, I am probably one of the more hardcore people in the group. I am often told to seek professional help for how much I do in this game. And that I don't quit.

Do I do it to put them down? Nope
Do I do it to show my superiority over them? Not that one either
Do it to be a special snowflake? Still not correct

I do the things I do because I enjoy a challenge. I enjoy failure.

Let that sink in for a moment.

I...enjoy...failing.

I enjoy learning and mastering things as much as I can. Failing causes that to happen.

Mashing 1-2-3 while watching Netflix doing easy content all the time? I might as well take a nap. I'll learn the same amount.

I enjoy setting different kinds of goals and chasing them down until I achieve them. Some are easy and some are a challenge.

I help people clear content and do things with them because I enjoy their company. Not out of some superiority complex.

Here is a question for you:

When was the last time you took a new player through the Praetorium or Castrum and did the following:
1) Let them watch all the cutscenes?
2) Let them fully participate in all of the fights?
3) Do it at level 50 synced?
4) Do it at minimum ilvl (i42)?

I do that when I am available.

When someone needs something melded or crafted, I do that as well. I do it for free.

Someone puts into Novice Network that their run has blown up and they need help, I do that too.

I do not need to be better than others.

I do need to be the best I can.

I don't know what caused you to feel the way you do. I do hope that one day you open your eyes and see certain types of people are not all as bad as you think they are.

i never said raiders can't be helpful but harmony as a whole? no, as people has stated if the challenge of the end game raid was all that was needed then there would be no issues because who cares about gear right?

there are toxic players on both sides be it casual or hardcore, but that has nothing to do with my statement.

my statement is about one player base feeling they deserve to be better than the other and won't accept it any other way *i need a higher ilvl than you to show you i did this or else it's pointless to do*

heck there were suggestions for titles, minions, mounts, but the only one that truely matters is ilvl *showing off the better equipment*
