Bugged Quest Question

Odd issue here, and I'm looking for advice. :-)

I found a graphical glitch with an MSQ quest 'Final Ignominy.' I researched and reported it via two forum posts that are now in 'Accepted Bugs' (can search for 'ignominy' there if interested).

I now have a new character and he has to do this quest. Is it okay for me to do the quest in spite of the glitch? I don't really have a choice b/c it is MSQ but feel like I'm breaking the game or cheating if I do. Is there any official thing from SE on what to do if this happens? This isn't exploitable by any means.

Bugs freak me out and I'm likely overreacting over nothing. Just want to make sure it is okay to do a quest with known bugs provided you are not gaining any advantage from them.

As long as it's nonexploitable and doesn't change the progress of the quest, I can't imagine that Squeenix would ban you for doing the quest despite it. didn't you say it's a graphics glitch? How would that even be exploitable unless it's showing you the secret path to the strongest armor in the game or something? lol.

*Looks up quest* Um... the quest where you set out the banquet like a waiter? Yeah, you have nothing to worry about. Paranoia be gone! And think positive, if its just a graphical glitch its possible it wont happen again when you do the quest, so you might be pre-worrying for nothing over a glitch that wont even happen.

It is perfectly ok. The key is right there in your own text, "you are not gaining any advantage".
