Also what monitors are they? I've been looking at 120hz monitors but they're crazy expensive, and since I have 28" now, i can't go back to 21", so I'd have to get the asus 27" which are $650, and thus why I'm enjoying my current monitors.

Honestly, it's more of an issue that you'd be going from 1920x1200 to 1920x1080. Hell I won't even use a monitor at 27" unless it's 2560x1440
Well the problem with that is they don't really make 1920x1200 anymore. Cheap 27" panels are 1920x1080, where the dot pitch is just too large for me. Good 27" panels use 2560x1440, and pretty much all 30" panels are 2560x1600, like mine.
I understand what you mean, but I like having more area due to the higher resolution.
