nVidia surround is awesome!!!

After some snags, I finally got FFXIV running on nVidia surround. I have 3x 28" monitors for a total resolution of 5760x1200, and hte game runs AMAZINGLY!!! I reccomend it to everyone.

And before people say "onry for people with more money than brainz!!1!!111" I did it on a budget for under $1500.

I'm surprised more people don't do it. Apparently all you need is an ati 5850 with eyefinity, or any 2 nvidia cards of a decent number, and any 3 monitors that support the same resolution.

I run the same setup with ATI 5870's

and yes, rocks the socks.

also, if your resolution is 5760x1200, you can't have general draw quality above 8, or it'll crash the game. It took me an hour to figure out what the problem was, super annoying.

The bezels would drive me nuts.

They are a bit maddening... but it could be worse. I don't find myself looking near the bezels, stuff is either on my main screen, or on a side screen, so when I'm actually playing it's not as bad.

Boy can you imagine the chicks you could pick up with this set up lol. If I did that and my wife seen it she would laugh and divorce me in a heartbeat, she gives me enough crap being the huge ff fan that I am.
