What if they implement the MSQ skip mentioned in magazine interviews? If they were going to do it, likely it would be for the next expansion. Being as such, wouldn't it make sense if they make some small carrot to motivate people to do the old MSQ and content when they otherwise had no reason to? If they did, they could release it before the expansion came out so we could get used to it, and reduce the outcry when we find out that people that buy the next expansion can just start without ever having to do much of the old primals and story. (Not that I'd care if they let people skip old MSQ, but I'm sure some people'd be a little unhappy)

Just throwing out random ideas but, is this some kind of system to make people go do the old MSQ and content (stuff like castrum meridium, the old primals, coil maybe?) , when possibly in the future it won't be required to advance the new expansion story? So like, maybe if you do this girls quests, then you get exp bonuses for when you level red mage/samurai or whatever. She probably gives you leveling gear or some other random stuff similar to how leves work? Otherwise people might side step old content and just do fates or something which would be mindless (but probably faster without a exp bonus).

What little I've gleaned from translated interviews seems to say the dev's don't want brand new players to be intimidated by the growing gap to "catch up" in the story... all those cutscenes and stuff to watch... I like watching them, but I know some that just wanna get to the punching stuff.
