This thread made me hop into the archive for a while today
For those who are interested in the "live" feelings people had at the time, here are some links:
At first, it all seemed ridiculous...

Most people were totally into it, had fun, pieced every part together, were amazed, sad, desperate and just generally full of emotions

By far not everyone liked it though

I forgot how much of a mess the final hours were..

...but when the final cutscene played, all was forgiven and many tears were shed.

And after all was over, the players looked back on what they had experienced up until that point and thanked the devs for the amazing end
