Thread: The Rising Event! 1.0 Experience

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since i posted anything but i'd like to take this time and give you guys a personal perspective of what happened during the Sixth Astral Era.

Some of you may already know about the Calamity that threatened Eorzea(aka 1.0-2.0)



While this was floating in the sky, War was going on on the ground. The three city had just formed a alliance to fight the Garlean Empire. At the time we had no idea what that was. In fact most of us just thought of it as that. A meteorite.


"The two Armies clashed under the specter of the sanguine moon".

For those of you who don't understand this.. The Garlean Empire quite literally invaded all 3 city and killed players in town.

Now i know what most of you 2.0+ Players are thinking.. Oh they're just the imperial Army. They're weak! WRONG!
At the time Level cap was Lv 50.
These bad boys invaded our homes at Lv.60+ Way before 2.0 was even introduced.

Players were rounding up around the clock to fight off Imperials. It took at least 12-20 people to fight one of them and we were almost wiping everytime.



You thought it was just the generals coming into town? Think again.

Players were either running away or dieing. Even if you did run away. you wouldn't make it far before being killed by something.



Trust me when i say this. There was no running away.

Beautiful Ul'Hah... That was an amazing send off to a game I dearly loved.. ; ;

If things weren't bad enough not only were the imperial invading. Monsters were attacking us as well. Remember that Lv 47 Dungeon no one does anymore? Imagine that Sucker Lv 60 Killing all your friends and family.






That being said. just because they were higher level then us. with enough coordination and team work we were able to get a few kills.

R.I.P To all the brave souls who stuck through 1.0 and made things happen. It was an amazing adventure and these next few screenshots go out to you.
