PlayStation 4 - Unable to Download Patch Files Error [20512] [25008] [20495]

So I am unable to download the patches. As soon as it hit 1049 mbs /13766 mbs, it pops up the error. I have tried numerous times with trying different methods, like different internet, wired/wi-fi, port forwarding, contacting ISP, uninstalling and reinstalling, and even set PS4 back to factory settings and wiping it clean and it still does not download the patch files. This has all started last week when I got a corrupted character configuration file. I found the file and removed it and ever since then I am unable to update past that point. My subscription also renewed and at this point it is completely going to waste. Everything is up to date. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Hey, look at that, third such issue within the past couple of days in an active forum on tech support. And still no plan of action or official response from Square.

Misti - feel free to take a look at the other forums and see if the solutions (port forwarding, mobile hotspots), etc. They may help you, or they may not. The issue is that Square isn't looking into this. They're more willing to blame you, your PS4, and your ISP than admit they have an issue that they should be repairing.

Each one of these I come across, the more bitter I become, I swear.

Yea I have noticed that, I have, however, managed to finally get past the patching and able to play now. It seems like (for me) was that it would not get past that point on my AT&T internet. I let my friend try it at their place because they have something else and it managed to fully patched it without any issues.

I have a similar story... eerily so. Same error codes, even the same place it crashes (1049)... As annoyed as I am by Sqeenix, I'm more interested in making this work. What's the go to?

I had another issue that i just would get a blank white screen with bg music, after a re-install and still not working today i got to login finally, only to get these patches to fail.
Oh and i have seen this same issue in the resolved section, like really? It's not at all resolved
Hard for me to do but may very well end up ending my sub since cannot play anymore it would seem.
Been 3 days so far
