Moral of the story is the tank should have helped. Someone mentioned it here before but its not the dps job to remove the moogles, its the tanks/healers. If they are lazy and dont want to do it then they need to be reminded they can do something besides just tanking and healing. My raid tier dps is better used burning the boss then dealing with a simple push mechanic.

Exactly, and I would even say it should have been the healer to push them alone. There's no reason for DDs to stop DPS for this simple mechanic.
